Our beautiful real oak veneered floors are manufactured in-house from 12mm crown cut oak veneered plywood and are cut on our state of the art CNC to the shape of your van floor. We recommend fitting with our 9mm ply floor packer kit (sold separately) Save money and fitting time without the need to purchase and install the traditional 12mm ply floor and Altro cover, simply bond pre cut floors into place!

Fitting
The oak floor must be bonded to prevent the wood warping, although easy in theory, achieving a perfect finish can require a certain level of attention to detail. Firstly, dry fit your floor, they are designed to fit perfectly snug after ply lining and carpet, however if any trimming is required this is the time. Secondly, we recommend filling the van rib gaps with 9mm ply for a better base support, however this is not imperative. When fitting apply an even amount of adhesive onto the ribs, we recommend soudal fix all turbo adhesive. Once the floor has been laid, apply even pressure throughout so the floor is in contact with all the ribs. Finally, the floor must be weighed down with significant weight, ensuring all the floor is in contact with the ribs and bond, this is most important over the join. An alternative to weight can be using acrow props, just ensure you are applying pressure evenly and inline with the van ceiling ribs to avoid damaging any headliners, you can also screw through into the ribs where furniture and beds may sit.
Finish
We recommend using an oil to bring out the natural oak colour, then treating with a bees wax or varnish for protection from traffic and dirt, see osmo products for best results
Deep V lines
Use Osmo gap sealer, masking tape either side of the V, fill then remove tape straight away before drying

- For VW T5/6 This floor requires a full length WIDE threshold from Vanstyle.co.uk and the deep side step from THQ.
- For VW T7/ New 2024 Ford Transit Custom this floor requires a rear threshold from UK leisure and the deep side step from THQ.
- Other vans may also require Wide rear and steep side trims.
- Some floors may require slight trimming depending on ply-lining, insulation and carpet used.
